Our Mission and Vision

Asahikawa Masjid, located in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, Japan, is dedicated to serving as a spiritual and community hub for Muslims and fostering interfaith understanding.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming space for worship, education, and cultural exchange, guided by Islamic principles of peace, compassion, and unity.

We aim to strengthen the Muslim community in Hokkaido while promoting mutual respect and cooperation with the broader society.

Our History

Established to serve the growing Muslim population in Asahikawa, our masjid has become a cornerstone for religious and social activities.

We offer daily prayers, Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers, Ramadan programs, and educational initiatives, including Quranic studies and community outreach events. Our commitment extends to supporting both local and international visitors, ensuring an inclusive environment for all.
